Individual giving

I enjoy helping people new to charitable giving align their values to develop a thoughtful plan that has an impact and is rooted in centering women and BIPOC-led movement groups. With expertise in tax deductible, political and PAC giving and an understanding of the national as well as state based strategies, together we’ll craft a focused and impactful giving plan, whether you’ve been giving for years or want to jump in fresh and make a difference during this tumultuous time.

Foundation strategy

I love working with foundations and boards who are starting to explore democracy and civic engagement as part of their grantmaking portfolio and also foundations who want to add a race equity or democracy lens to their current grantmaking strategies. I can also fill internal gaps during peak times or staff transitions and serve as a short-term senior program officer to develop or execute an existing grantmaking strategy.

Coaching

I love supporting individual philanthropic and organizational leaders in the democracy field through transitions, growth spurts and complex dynamics. I also support donors to boost mission related giving, leverage their philanthropic impact and engage more deeply as an activist.
